Microphone really low in Steam and Games; fine with other Programs
Hey guys,

So i got a Logitech G430 Headset and got got the following settings on my Win10 OS:

Mic in at front, volume set to 100 Mic boost +10.0 dB (can boost up to +30, but doesn't matter in thits case) Allow applications to take exclusive control over this device [unchecked] So with these settings I absolutely have no problems communicating via TeamSpeak or other programs. But when it comes to Steam (or ingame for let's say CS:GO) when I go to Steam->Settings-YIn-Game Voice (Note: I updated to the beta. Beta or not doesn't change result.) -> Test Microphone I can not hear myself, at all.

I boosted the "Microphone Volume" in the settings all the way up, also tried maxing the mic boost in Windows settings, yet I can't get to get it working. When I scream really loud (and I mean really loud) I can see the green bar lighting up slighty and hear my very distant voice very (very) quietly.

As this problem only persists in Steam and Steam games, I assume it has to be a problem within Steam? Do you guys know any possible fix for this?

Things I tried (besides what's listed before):

- update audio drivers
- try different microphone (in total 3 different ones)
- try every microphone panel (front and back)

I'm out of ideas. If any one can help, would be really appreciated, as communication in games like CS:GO is key.
