Issues with Vanilla Gift Card Refund
Hello, for my birthday I got a $100 dollar gift card and put the $100 dollars in my steam wallet. After not being able to access the steam marketplace, I went ahead and refunded it back to the card. I got an email saying the refund has been received and I should see the funds in at most 14 days. However, when I checked the email, it said the purchase and the refund was from a card ending in (using example) 55. The gift card I used to put the funds in my wallet ended in (example) 33. See the problem? No card is saved in my steam account ending in the 55 card that the refund is supposed to go to. I've contacted the gift card customer support and they didn't have much to say. I contacted steam support after the refund request to see if they had anything to say but they haven't replied? What I'm asking is, am I ♥♥♥♥♥♥? Or is there something I can do to get this resolved. Thanks

Is the gift card a MasterCard Debit Card by any chance?
So what the reason of not being able to use the Steam market?

When you refund the funds back to where it came from, it will literally go back the way it came from, meaning if you put money on account with 33 it will go back to 33, no where else, doesn't matter if you change the card to 55 it's not going to 55, because it didn't come from 55, it came from 33. I hope that help you understand how funds are returned.

If this is a Steam card, fund can't be refund.

I suggest you wait for Steam support to reply, and not freak out, also how long has it been? Also I believe it's 14 business days if I'm not mistaken, meaning weekdays only are counted, not weekend. Monday to Friday counts, Saturday, and Sunday doesn't count.
