Discord overlay shortcut is causing steam to take endless screenshots... halp!

I have steam's screenshot shortcut key disabled, all settings both in game and in client show as "none" for screenshot key.

Yet if I press shift+` for the discord overlay, it will take dozens of screenshots until I alt tab or do something to break the cycle.

Shift+` has no other binding, there are no issues anywhere else, i'm not running any macro software, or any other bindings.

Couldn't see anything when searching for this problem, but hopefully if anyone else had this issue they found a solution they could share.

Looks like the Discord overlay causes Steam to take screenshots. You can check if another hotkey for the Discord overlay does the same.

Yup, it doesn't matter what I change the discord binding to, it starts screenshot spamming.

The issue only happens if steam doesn't have a screenshot shortcut assigned though, so I guess that's a fix for now.

I have solved the problem!

Here's the solution, if you assign a keybind in the steam app in the "In-game" tab under "Settings", that will solve the issue. I have had the same problem but figured it out, go me!

I just changed my screenshot key back to f12 and it worked
