Where do I find the activation code or CD key for Uplay?
I bought rainbow six siege. When launched the games it brought me to Uplay and told me I needed an activation code or a CD key. I have not been told what it is by steam or anyone else. Could you please tell me how do I figure out what my CD key or activation code is?
Thank you.

Visit your library, view games in detail, click on your game, to the right you should see the words cd key, click on it to show the cd key, now go to Uplay, and redeem it.

Make sure the UPlay client is up to date and then launch the game from Steam. You can not manually register the game on Uplay.

Make sure Uplay up to date, launch the game from steam, if it ask for a key, cancel, close the game, then relaunch the game.

For people seeing this in 2020. Another problem I couldn't find a solution to for my friend, who kept having this pop-up. Something else to check is to log into Uplay, and in settings you can see linked accounts as a section, if there is nothing showing, for some reason Uplay did not initially link your account upon launch. Click on your profile picture, log off. And close Uplay. Then launch the game that you kept having issues for and you should need to log in. Upon doing so you will have the option to link your steam account, and the problem should be fixed. Hope this helps.

Thanks this is in fact correct.. instead we rebooted PC and steam had an update... after that launch was successful.
