Steam Message ... "Please enter your birth date to continue:" ...
Every new session on Steam I see this message when first access a game with "Mature" content ...
This has been going on for many days now ...
The Steam system ... cookies ? ... for many years now ...
Would remember a user's Birth Date ... why is this not working now ? ...
I only think I had to re-enter it very rarely after a Steam Client Update ...
And there has not been one of those since mid December 2017 ...
Do other users now experience this issue ? ... thanks ... :steamsad:

It is now a session cookie. They changed that along with a few other things on Tuesday.

Get used to it.

Don't know. I guess something happened and they are now covering themselves from any legal troubles...?

But onto the other changes...

For friends only and private profiles like you and I, we can no longer comment on public profile comment sections unless we are Steam friends with them.

Well if Steam makes it "harder" ... more difficult ... to navigate to a page ...
For Users who are entitled to ... in this case by their age ...
Then a percentage of Users on a seeing that Message above ...
Will not bother with the repetitive clicking and sliding for Birth Date ...
If Users do not look at a Game ... they will not buy it ... :steamsalty:

I wouldn't mind entering it and have in the past, but over the past few days the screen freezes when I try to change it from the default 2018 making it impossible to proceed
