Steam client (win) won't play videos in Store pages
Hello! For a couple of days Steam just won't play videos in the store. I've updated GPU drivers, have windows up to date and have restarted PC to no avail.

What happens is that when I enter a game page in the store, everything shows normally but the media player will be black and selecting first video. The video won't play, and I"m not able to switch to other media (either video or images). There's no error message, just an empty black media player.

OS: Windows 10 pro build 16299.192 (This was recently updated, it might be part of the probem)
GPU: GTX 1070, drivers 390.77 (latest in GeForce experience app)

Any help is appreciated!

If this is happening in the Steam Client then try clearing the cache and cookies.

Steam > Settings > Web Browser. Click Delete Web Browser Cache then Delete Web Browser Cookies. Then restart Steam.

Not sure if it will work but it does sometimes solve problems like this.
Thanks for that post. Steam hasn't worked right for several days and i've been working with the folks at Steam who were trying to suggest it's network related.
Funny thing is I uninstalled/reinstalled the program. I'd have thought it'd fix something like that. Gotta wonder where they keep this stuff, appearantly not in the steam folder.

THANK YOU!! I have been having this issues for the past few days and couldn't find anything to fix it until this. If your trailers or videos wont load or your reviews section is messed up try this.

I don't think it worked for me.
