And it's not a steam or any type of game due to copyright. And if i launch the exe normally without steam the Rockband Guitar i have works fine, however if i try and run it as a non steam game with that feature the rockband guitar no longer works. I think this is due to steam controller api being detected maybe? I have no clue
1. Launch big picture mode from your computer (directly on the computer, no steam link).
2. Launch clone hero from steam (so that the overlay turns on)
3. Hit Shift+Tab and go to controller settings. From here you can totally disable the overlay, and set force off on the controller setting. This will disable the steam controller API and let you use other controllers.
I'm using this with the virtual here software so I can play clonehero on my steam link. I have two of the xplorer xbox 360 wired controllers and it works great. This should work though even if you don't use steam link.
