In game voice and subtitles language.
Hi there peepz.
I've got quite a stupid question, sry for that I'm new here :D
So I like learning new languages by playing games, but to do that I need either to hear the foreign language and see subtitles in that language.
So... When I change the language of a game in my libary, does it change only the subtitles? Or maybye the subtitles AND the in game language (the things that the voice actors speak). Does it work this way for every game?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers.

Changing the language on steam will not change it for your games.

Each game has its own supported langauges and subtitle packs which you'll have to enable manually within the game itself.

Most games with multiple languages allow you to choose the in-game voice audio when you right-click on a game in the library, select Properties, then Language tab. It will redownload the audio files for that language. There are also games that already downloaded the additional languages, so you only need to change the language setting in-game.
