Lenovo Yoga 510 Good For Gaming?
What the title says. I want to get a computer I can take to school easily but also play games on. I'm not looking to play any big games like Fallout 4 or GTA V, but here are some of the games I am looking to play. CS:GO, Human Fall Flat, Left 4 Dead 2, Getting Over It, and a couple of other small games. Specs are

12.1 Full HD 1920 x 1200 Screen

Intel i5 Dual Core 6200U Processor

8GB RAM

256GB SSD Storage

UMA Graphics

Has no graphics card, just Intel HD which is not fit for gaming. The processor is also quite weak. The screen is another issue as it quite small. The main thing is that the computer you mentioned is more of a tablet (2 in 1) than a proper laptop, and is more for work or education rather than gaming. What is your budget?

Ah, thanks for the response.
I like the Lenovo laptops because they are light and versatile, I am now looking at the Lenovo Yoga 510.
Would these specs be better to run the games mentioned above?

14" 1366 x 768 screen

Processor Model A9-9410
Processor Type AMD A9
Processor Speed 2.9GHz
Processor Max Speed 3.5GHz

Graphics Card Brand AMD Radeon
Graphics Card Type R5 M430
Graphics Card Memory 2GB

Ram 8GB
Ram Type DDR4

Capacity 1 TB
Type HDD

Again, I'm not looking to run any AAA games or anything, just smaller games.

It would be ok for the games you mentioned, but I would strongly recommend you to get a better computer.

What is your budget? That way it will be much easier to narrow it down.

Around 1000-1500 nzd (750-1100 usd)

If you don't mind spending a bit more, there is the ASUS N580VD-DM264T.
https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/NBKASU580264/ASUS-N580VD-DM264T-GTX1050-Gaming-Laptop-156-1080p

Yoga 510 vs ASUS N580VD-DM264T:

Processor
AMD A9-9410 vs Intel 7700HQ
  • No. of cores: 2 vs 4
  • Lithography: 28nm vs 14nm
  • Launch date: Q2,16 vs Q1,17
The Intel processor is better. Since CS:GO is more CPU heavy, you will get much better performance.

Graphics
R5 M430 2GB vs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB

The 1050 is significantly better and will allow you to have higher settings/better performance in games.

RAM
Both have 8GB DDR4.

Display
14" 1366 x 768 vs 15.6" (16:9) LED backlit FHD
The Asus has a bigger screen.

So for a bit more, the Asus will be a better laptop. If you want, look around for some other deals that you can find and do some of your own research. :steamhappy:

All good! Also, don't forget to a case (if you don't own one) and ask about warranty.
