Steam 2000$ wallet limit
Guys if you all know steam wallet have a limit of 2000$ and you cannot use more than 2000$ in steam market in a 24 hour period. So if I want to buy for example a Dragon Lore Minimal Wear which cost 2016$ in the market listing, how can I do that since if steam don’t allow to use more than 2000$ in 24 hour period why are the things selling over 2000$ isn’t it just stupid.

so buy it over the course of 2 days? you realize that's no small expedentirue, steam needs to verify the funds belong to you and aren't being laundered.

they listed in a different currency, and as currency fluctuates, it's worth over $2000 in your currency now.

you say until, it's possible your currency discrepancy never meets the threshold. they most likely listed it for highest possible price.

On the positive side, it prevents you from buying a game item for more than 2K.

I mean, 2K is already uber-crazy.

you can say the same argument about bitcoin, it's a digital item whose value is decided by what people are willing to pay/etc. same thing with digital items like dota items and csgo items, etc.

Still the rule they implemented is just stupid why are we able to sell things over 2K while we can only spent less than 2K what do we just show off our items on Community Market?

Dude, you can't sell over 2k. that is currency discrepancy. you can't account for every currency changing and fluctuations in the world. your currency isn't the one world currency.

you simply have to go through the process of buying it with whatever amount of money in your steam wallet and then you just add steam funds from that purchase then steam wont see it in you wallet but it will be there and the item will go to you inv instantly after putting the money in through the market post.
