Possible to remove "Recommended because you've played games tagged with...."
Ok this is starting to royally irk me. On the store front I only ever get to see a certain number of games based on similar games I play, and it hardly ever seems to change. Rarely a new game will appear, but it's usually the same bunch, no matter how old and no matter how many times I've seen them.

Now in order to come here and ask this, (on a browser not the client) at first I was not logged in. I had a look at the store front and, wow.....it was like a breath of fresh air. Because I was not logged in here it didn't have any of my so called tags loaded, and I saw many new and different games, games I'd actually be interested in. I was like a kid in a candy store, looking on in wonder. Wondering why these games never show up in the client that is....

Of course, as soon as I log in here, it's back normal. All my boring "recommended" (pft, recommended. Fcoff will ya...) games appear and show their ugly faces again. Like an embarrassing friend you're trying to get away from.

I'd like to know if it's possible to get rid of this system, and have what shows up fresh on the store here while you're not logged in, show up this way on the client. Because at the moment, it's actually detrimental to me buying things because I played a game once and now it's tag thinks that's all I friggin' play. The current system, for me, don't know about anyone else, is having the total opposite effect if the effect is supposed to be convenience.

Now I know about blocking tags, but that for me is not a solution either. I mean one tag I have is survival. I like such games, but there's many that I won't buy because for some reason. That means if a survival game comes out that does appeal to me there's a chance I won't see it. This system sucks. There, I said it. In fact it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and so is the person(s) who designed it. Sorry.

Ahhh, felt good getting that out finally. But please tell me this is being looked at.

See if there is a problem with the settings? If you can't, make a customer service call.:steamhappy:

If you don't like the game press "Not recommended", it should not re-appear again. You can also just browse the categories manually, or most sold etc, so I don't see how this one part with recommendations should be an issue.

If you really want to browse the store just open your browser and don't log in I guess..
