How do I remove someone else's shared games from my library

So my ex and I broke up a while ago and in my library under the VR tab I see "Ex's Shared Games". I already removed him from my own shared library or whatever but he still shows for me. Pls halp I am tired of seeing his dumb name. Thnx fam

If you deauthorized his/her account in Steam -> Settings -> Family and those games still insist on appearing in your libray than you can hide them

To do so right click on game -> set categories -> hide game from Steam library

This method will 100% get rid of all Family Share connections.

Exit out of Steam, go into your Steam installation folder, there into the "config" folder, then delete the "config.vdf".
Then restart Steam. This will get rid of ALL Family Share connections.
So if you had other ones outside the person you wanted to get rid off you have to set them up again with that person.

i followed this instruction set

still there in my Steam (name of person i want GONE)

if nothing else works, this is what i did:

went to steam folder/config
opened the loginusers.vdf file
deleted the information of the other person
restarted steam

that helped for me!

hiding the games cant be the thing to do guys. my friend has hundrets of games and i dont wanna spend weeks of searching them (cus i have alot games too) and hiding them

Could be part of the past user account has rights to the pc ( dont forget we other call it Computer ID ) with own account ( i hope its this to remove multi steam user account ona pc. )

Pro tip
Logion page with diffrent user , hit first letter then click on name then hit del key to remove entry data, from search bar, old windows pro tip, to get ride of past info.

also sounds like multi account user on same pc , not actual FS issue.
