I am pretty sure it's a Steam issue. I myself have also had a lot of issues with the Steam voice chat on multiple machines with both USB headphones and stand alone microphones connected by jack.

I would just not use the Steam voice chat. When it does work it's not that great anyway.

Yeah but in some games the comunication is very important...maybe there is a problem with w10 privacity or whatever with steam/microphone? ..

You mean you are using the mic in Steam games? If it's a Valve game such as CSGO or TF2 it will be the same story, these games for some reason just don't like audio input devices connected via USB and quite often have issues with them.

At least this is my experience with Valve software and microphones.

If it was a Windows privacy settings issue the microphone wouldn't work in any application. But double checking of course doesn't hurt.

Yeah but is not the games...is just steam. If i go to Voice settings, i can see and select my audio device (my audio interface with the name "microphone") but if i go to "test mic" there is nothing working...and the same on games..the people can't hear me ... :S
