Received Coupon, No Applicable Games, Cannot Apply at Checkout

I received a coupon today for the game Cultist Simulator, for 10% off. The game is also currently on sale for 10% off, leading to what should be a total of 20% off the price (the coupon help page states that coupons can be applied to already on sale items) however when puirchasing said title, the coupon isn't able to be applied. When clicking on "Show Applicable Games" no games show up. So is the coupon not properly tied to the game? Is the coupon acting more like an ad, saying it's already 10% off (which would be super misleading)? Or is there a different problem I'm not figuring out? Thank you for the help!

1. Coupons can't be stacked unless otherwise specified.

2. It would not make it 20% off if it was stackable.

I'm not stacking two coupons, it's a coupon on top of a sale price. Which, as I stated, the official support page for coupons states that a coupon CAN be used on an item that is already on sale.

Again, as I said in the original post, the Coupon isn't applying. It is only 10% off from the initial sale price, and isn't giving me the option to apply the coupon, nor is it doing it automatically. The Coupon itself doesn't seem to be tied to the game. As I said originally, when clicking "Applicable Games" no games are returned in the search.

Which, as I stated, the official support page for coupons states that a coupon CAN be used on an item that is already on sale.

"Coupons are valid on discounted items unless specified otherwise."

It might help if you made your inventory public for a bit so we can see the voucher and its explicit wording.

Also, and this may seem unrelated, can you find the game in a store search?

Yeah, I can see it too. It just seems that there's something a little odd about the way that game's been set up on the store but I can't put my finger on it. This guy had the same issue which is why I asked if the OP could find the game through a manual store search.

I'm speculating here, but could it be due to the fact that the game is "Perpetual Edition" for anyone who buys it in the first week of release, while the coupon is for the "standard edition" (with no DLCs included)?

The Developer has fixed the issue, it seems it was a problem with the two editions of the game. Humble Bundle handled the Coupon, Steam handled the Release. So Steam released the game and tagged it as "Perpetual Edition", so when the Coupon went live, Steam couldn't find the game because the name had technically changed. It still doesn't show the game when clicking "View Applicable Games" but it does work when puirchasing it now. So this has been solved. Thank you all for helping!
