certain sounds in games drop in db need a little help. (Resolved)
i think db is the appropriate abreviation for it.
it's not only games but its a new prob and i tried searching for driver updates, cracked open the volume control could not identify any split wires and all the jacks seems to be nice and tight like a glove.
Ty if any can give me some info or atleast confirm that this might be a bug from the recent windows 10 update.

Check Playback/Recording...

Make sure Communications = Do Nothing
Make sure Loudness Equalization = Disabled

What Motherboard and/or Audio do you have?

Right click the Speaker Icon in Notification Bar > Playback > Speakers > Properties > Enhancements. If "Loudness Equalization" is on, the max volume DB will be raised, however when there are large differences between loud vs quiet sounds, the master volume might appear (through hearing it) to drop and then raise back up again.

This option is more suited for lower wattage TV/Monitor built-in Speakers, or for Laptop users.
Not generally great for Headphone users or for External Powered Speakers.

You will notice a Communications tab there in Playback/Recording as well; in that section, set to "Do Nothing"

If you are using Windows 10 1803, then it will look like this instead:
https://www.windowscentral.com/sites/wpcentral.com/files/styles/xlarge/public/field/image/2018/03/sound-settings-windows-1803.jpg
In here, to reach Playback/Recording, click Sound Control Panel on the upper-right-hand side
