How to connect ps4 controller to pc

I just got the new controller ( dualshock 4 ) and I have no idea how to connect it to pc. I installed the ds4 windows thing, but when I want to download the drivers its stucks on the opening installer (step 1)
I tried through bluetooth, but my pc can't find the controller
Any ideas?

I successfully installed the ds4 windows but after I installed the drivers it says: Could not connect to Scp Virtual Driver

Use Steam instead, way easier.
Just go to Steam>settings>controller> and enable ps4/ds4 stuff.
Then you can edit bindings for every game.

You need to set the controller to pairing mode.

To pair the DS4 with your computer, first put the controller into pairing mode by press and HOLDING the Playstation button and Share button at the same time. Hold these buttons until the light bar starts rapidly flashing. Then go into your bluetooth menu and chose "Add Device".

The scp toolkit has nothing to do with DS4Windows. They are different programs. You probably have both installed and they 'Re interfering with each other.

Uninstall everything, do a shift+reboot, then pair your controller and install DS4Windows again.
Also disable the so called DS4 Support in Steam. Works far better with DS4Windows driver.

In DS4W settings make sure you enable "Hide DS4 Controller". It helps some games.

I've been using SCPtoolkit for connecting my Dualshock 3 and it's working great. It also supports Dualshock 4. SCPtoolkit Driver Installer does pretty much all the job for configuring Dualshock as Xbox controller and even giving user an option to configure Bluetooth Dongle if one wishes to play games on Steam wirelessly.

As you said, I Uninstalled everything and installed again. After that the Scp Virtual Driver dissapeard. But the DS4W still can't find my controller

It's ok for DS3 but for DS4 DS4Windows is simply better. Has working Button-profiles-per-game and lets you customizs DS4 specific settings like touchpad, etc.
