Moonlight streaming issue
Hi there,
I have an issue with Moonlight app (Android and raspberry).
When i launch a steam game through big picture in streaming mode, steam always crash and moonlight said that the connection is interrupted.
That's strange because non-steam games work as normal as always.
What should I do?

At least on Android, you can use the Steam link app now.

I have exactly the same issue. I haven't used my Raspberry-Moonlight streaming system for like 10 days and now it won't start no more. I have a GTX 1060 and a GTX 1050 system. The issue is the same with both. I am able to start Destiny 2 as battle.net game but the stream keeps crashing after 1-5 sec with every Steam game. Could it be related to a Steam update?

I think it' s a steam trouble. Big picture is so buggy too. Every time i launch a game fron big picture, i need to press alt-tab to get my game on my screen. This doesn' t happen in steam normal mode. Just a buggy steam client

I am a bit curious why I don't find any other reports on this issue. Could it be related to the newest Windows Update which came in like 2 weeks ago?
But, since steam-steam in-home streaming is also crashing, it could be the Steam client indeed. But why is nobody else witnessing these issues? Is it possible to undo Steam updates?

I think I'll try starting a game directly by Moonlight "moonlight stream -app Borderlands" for example, this evening. This would be poor since not all games are listed by Geforce Experience, but at least I could play something until updates manage to solve the issue.

After today' s update, have you got the same problem? Or it' s definitely gone?

I solved the issue by buying a used Steam Link from ebay...
I used moonlight for 3-4 years and it was far from user friendly though it works well, if nothing changes. The fact that nobody except of us is facing the new issue got me to buy a Steam Link. Here, it simply works...
I have to say, moonlight on the Pi works a bit better and I look forward to use it again, but the latest moonlight version is from January. I want to play games and not read myself through reddit/github/steam forums every few month to solve issues...
Raspberry Pis work great, but only if nobody is watching.

If you have a Pi 3, I recommend installing an Android image and trying the Steam Link App. I couldn't since there is no image for the Pi 3 b+...
