Hello, I was suppriced to se that Norway is now showing Euro as the price in steam. Why then it sweden showing a price that is not our local currency?

Also the price in norska kronor is way lower. (is that the reason? )

I´m submitting the question here becouse i cannot find the ask support direcly, only able to find how to refound the game.

Not sure why Sweden hasn't had the currency switch yet but you need to remember that the Euro covers a much bigger area then just Norway and was one of the first currencies set up because of that.

Actully, maybe it´s en EU rule that the price of the same digital has to be the same for everyone if it´s offered on the same store.
For example that you cannot deny anyone in EU to buy online from your store.

Norway is not part of EU or Euro. Sweden is Part of Eu and connected to Euro and it's economical policies, althoue not using Euro as currency directly but Euro can be fully used in country, shops and so. I guess it has to due to how Eu and it's finincial setup works. I could be wrong.

Actully no, you cannot go into any shop in Sweden and expect to be able to pay with Euro bills. Or exepect that the price is or can be displayed in Euro.
You can go and pay with your creditcard, but it will show SEK, or if showing EURO', it would Alos show USD.

Actully Sweden is not connected to the Euro, we use SEK (Swedish Kronor)

From my personal knowledge, every time a store change their currency to the local ones, it ALWAYS gets more expensive. So think over what you want! If I'm even correct on this one that is. :P

Sweden is part of The EMU, but has not yet adopted EURO as currency. If they have to in the end or not is up to debate. EU says yes, Sweden maybe. And you can use Euro at most mayor retailers, but i guess the convertion is not on your side.
Steam is moving towards, and has for long said they should move towards using local currency. They take some countrys at a time.

On a side note. On the referandum conserning joining EMU Noside won, but since such a vote is not binding the goverment choose to say yes, but has delayed the adoption of Euro as currency, if ever so EU say Sweden must, and Sweden says Maybe.

Actually Sweden is not part of the EMU and never was. Either you are too young to remember the referendum or simply ignorant. A quick google search will tell you that you are wrong.

You resurrected an 18-month old thread to tell someone they are wrong...? :steamfacepalm:
