Steam rendering problems

Hi people, my steam client got some weird "rendering?" bugs for example as I move my mouse around options get highlighted as if I was choosing them with the cursor, page rendering getting messed with page elements moving and right now as I'm typing the text is moving in some places inside the "text box".

Any idea what the problem can be and how to solve it? Thank you a lot!

heya got the same issue it just happened after the last steam update to

steam-api: v018
steam paket version: 1521764535

it is called screen tearing... the issue is in steam client only but not the games - valve just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up... i'm waiting for a new update to fix this ♥♥♥♥

Hey Zarathustra, thanks for the info. Searching for Steam Screen Tearing showed it is a Nvidia Drivers problem I've changed my Steam in Nvidia Settings to be rendered with the Intel Graphics and now the problem is gone!
