Black Screen (Fixed)

OK, so I started up Steam today, and when Steam actually launched, I got a black screen. I have NO idea what's going on, since this problem is only on my desktop and Steam works perfectly fine on my laptop and phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Steam, but that didn't do a thing. Can someone please help?

I can't open my graphics card settings.

You need to do it through AMD Catalyst control center.

If you cannot find it, try looking for this:

C:\Program Files\AMD\CCC2\Install\ccc2_install.exe

Run it and the AMD Catalyst control center should be back.

I have a shortcut to the CCC by right clicking on my desktop and it won't launch when I do.

You may need to reinstall it, I have Nvidia and the control panel was similarly bugged and a reinstall of the Nvidia GeForce Experience fixed it.

Thanks, I managed to install it. Now how do I run Steam in low power mode?

switch to Power Saving > Apply

If you close the control center, open it again and look on the same options as earlier, does it say you are now on Power-saving?

Yes. Steam is now working. I should be able to run games now. Thanks for the help.
