Where do i find my activation code for assassin's creed origins?

Can somebody please help me? I have checked my steam registered email and i cannot find anything, when i launch the game it work's perfectly but it still asks for an activation code?. My Uplay account is registered to a different email address, i'm not sure if that could be an issue. What should i do?

I do remember receiving the code somewhere on screen after purchasing it but i did not enter it.I just want to know where i could find it again?

Right-click the game and click "View CD-KEY". Then c+p that into the uplay client.

There is no "View CD-Key" :(

Then re-open the game through steam. It should pop up.

As I said, re-open the game through the steam client in the library.

No. There are no more activation codes from Ubisoft games. Download and install the latest version of Uplay (make sure you delete the one currently installed) and it stops asking you.

Copy and paste it into the client.

I have just done what you said and i get this in the top right corner. "Press Shift + F2 While in game to activate in the overlay"

Which is the shortcut to open the Uplay overlay. Is there an actual error message that you're receiving, or just the assumption the process is more involved?

With the latest uPlay client, it will automatically copy the code from Steam.
