Creating Tables in a Steam Guide
I'm trying to create a Steam Guide and require a table. I can figure out how to make the table but I'm looking for more information on stuff such as text colour, column width and merging cells. I really don't know much about coding or programming languages but would there be a specific language that the table is in? I've tried BBCode and HTML (replacing "< >" with "[ ]") but neither have had solutions that have worked. Are there any guides out there that people know of that can help me out?

Thanks for the help

Was hoping to do the same thing, the best I've come up with so far is using empty cells for information that is blank. I'm going a time chart where the time and location don't change, but there are a number of options I want it clear that the time and location are the same, but there are multiple options at that time and location.

Time
Location
Options
10:00
Kitchen
Turn on stove
Open refrigerator
Get a pan
basically it's hard, very. but if you even say bbcode is ugly to work with the entire world calls you a grasser and pours their undying love on an ancient markdown language full of bugs. The only trick I found is to format the rows and columns neatly to make mistakes less likely. and, to expect to encounter markdown bugs.
