Game says purchase instead of play but I've already bought it?

I bought Fallout 3 about a year ago, but haven't played it in a while. Decided to play it today but it wont launch, it just keeps bringing up the purchase page. The button where it usually says "play" in my games library also says Purchase, though this hasn't happened to any of my other games. Can someone please help, I am getting incredibly frustrated trying to find a solution through the steam support page. T.T

Likely in that time you refunded the game.

You more than likely have a different account or what ever site you bought Fallout 3 from was not authorized seller.

Remember, the steam account can be used on forums, first time you made one you most likely made one for steam then made a secondary for the forums.

Log into the account you have the game on.

I checked that too but it only shows me the games i bought this year, although one of the other games i bought last year works fine.

Your current profile doesnt have any Fallout 3 history. You are on the wrong account!

I think i'm just really dumb cause I still can't figure this out. I tried signing in using my old profile name but that didn't work either and i can't find any sign of any other account that i might have used. I'm probably not gonna figure this out so I give up. I didn't play it that much anyway and all the other games work fine so nevermind. Thanks everyone for all the help anyway!

You don’t use your profile name to sign in, you use the accounts username with if different to the profile name and can’t be changed after the account is created.

Check your e-mail account to see if you have an e-mail about the accounts you have created and what the username/login name is.

Finally figured it out, somehow lol. Don't know why or how but I apparently made a second account like everyone said i did. No idea how i managed to do that without realising it but whatever. Thanks again for everyones help, it is much appreciated!
