Steam Folder Takes Too Much Space
I have a 128GB SSD (Because of Windows 10, 118GB of space for me to use), and on steam I only have two games, Dota 2 (about 19.9GB) and Stellaris (about 6.54GB). Together they add up to about 27GB, however, in my C Drive, it says that steam takes up 48.7GB. I tried clearing the cache, and even used the Steam Cleaner application, but it barely changed. Could someone please tell me where the 20GB of space go to, or is there something I can do?

Delete the smaller one that Steam doesn't seem to know about. (the one steam folder in the steam folder)

Or to be extra safe, exit Steam and move the folder to somewhere else or rename it and start steam to see if that breaks something.

Try to verify where the Steam.exe you are using is located. check with Ctrl+shift+esc or check the shortcut you start Steam with.

I'm kind of curious what is in the /steam/steam/steamapps/common folder before you delete it.

Get TreeSize Free (available from the Windows Store, by the way), it can show you where exactly space is used.

It did show me where the space goes, 28GB in the steamapps folder, and 20GB in the steam/steamapps, is there anything I can do, like delete the second steamapps or something?

Yes. How have you created the secomd folder in the first place? The only SteamApps folder that should exist is one in the Steam folder. Everything else is wromg (and not created by Steam, by the way).

You have a Steam within a Steam that has a Steamapps?

That is not right at all.

Would you mind going into Steam (top left) > Settings > Downloads > click Steam Library Folders. What does it say there?
