With Win10, and I quit a game... my PC does not return to the desktop
I'm saying that with Steam, most, if not all my games cannot and/or do not return to my desktop when I choose "quit' from the game menu. All I get is a blank desktop, CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing... and I have to hard power down my PC. My brain is going WTF? here.

This is not good. The Steam Support folks told me it is because I'm playing "older games",,, I think that this is a BS answer. I just want to know how to quit a game like SOASE, without locking up my laptop.

Check your video card drivers cuz sometimes Windows 10 installs it automatically and they miss Physx drivers. It happened to me before when i installed it and it was missing so i had to manual install it and it runs like butter. I suggest check your drivers by downloading GPUZ to make sure they are installed properly. It's free to download. What kind of video card are you using and i doubt you are using an laptop?

Although I've updated my video drivers, Jason. Good try though :) And, yes I'm using a laptop.
