My game (PUBG) is downloading again and againn !!

IDK what the fk is happened but after the last update (1.6gb one ) i think its patch 1.0 update #7
. so i left my pc with that 1.6gb update but my pc downloaded like 1.8gb and in the download bar i sw that the update is downloading again. i was like so i paused the download and i thought maybe restarting steam will fix this issue so i restarted the steam. but after that i was shocked to see my pubg was downloading again it was like 12.9gb to download again so i did. but after downloading about 10gb i paused cause of some ping issues i get in other games. and after resuming the download that fkin ♥♥♥♥♥ started downloading all over again. WTF so i downloaded it again. so after like 11 gb my internet got disconnected . and then after i resume the download it started again from the beginning. i got tired and i reinstalled the steam and i changed the download game path and today when i see the download was reached 11.9gb only 1 gb was left and when i restarted my pc couse of some windows updating ♥♥♥♥♥ when i resume the download .. GUESS WHAT ???

Do not restart your PC mid download, it obviously can't handle it.

what if my electricity goes off ? what if my internet got disconnected ? dude is there any solution there cause steam is very big . and it will be so shame if they cant afford servers with resume-able links

Steam downloads do support resume.

Do some research before posting!

lol i hve done research allready. people backup the patch files under downloading folders to resume there links. and i do shut down my pc well.

btw what about this _ what if my electricity goes off ? what if my internet got disconnected ?

where i live internet data is too expensive and if u waste it like that downloading a 13gb game 4 to 5 times . it will cost u more then the game price .

Then fix your pc. I've been on steam for well over a decade over several computers and laptops and not once has this happened to me.

I think it downloads again if it updates while download is stopped or computer is shut down. Pubg is a bit weird. Today i installed windows new and all steam games reinstalled well from old files. I didn't have to download them again except Pubg. It checked the data from last version and decided to delete them all and downloads them again. It's a bit frustating and don't know why Pubg is so special.

Happened to me to. Its been 3 days. Cant finish downloading. Almost thinking of a refund.

People who dont have anything productive to say should just shut their mouth and move along. There are people here who face problems, problems they shouldn't face in the first place. When EpicGame launcher is more reliable than Steam, you know things are really bad.

Its laughable seeing people comments like

I'd think they're saying the right things man. I've had this happen to me and these things fixed it. People do face problems like this and people like you randomly make fun of people giving them solutions. Don't post if you're wrong.

iv just got the PUBG and it is downloading too much, it has already reached 66 GB for downloading 23 GB and its not done yet!!!
and it says the game will be ready in 50' , but that was 6 hours ago
