Help removing Steam App game link

I'm on Windows 10. I like to start games by right-clicking the Steam app icon running in my taskbar and choosing from the list of installed games there. My problem is that I have a game that I uninstalled, "The Red Solstice", but there is still a link to it in the menu there.

It doesn't show as being installed anywhere else within the Steam application, though I do have the option to install it again. It's not in the Windows Apps and Features list.

I don't know where that games list is populated from (registry, etc.), but I'd be happy to manually remove it from the source.

Does anyone have any ideas?

They are from your recently played list of games. If you are talking about the taskbar and not the notification area, unpin it from the menu.

If they're not pinned, just right click and "remove from this list"

My terminology was lacking. I'm talking about the notification area of the taskbar. You know, where the clock, volume, and other running applications (Steam, NVIDIA Settings) have icons.

I like to right click the Steam icond and start a game from that list, or display my Friends list, etc.

Usually, when I uninstall a game it stops showing up on that list. Unfortunately, The Red Solstice just won't go away even though it is uninstalled.

Play more games to bump it off the list.

Odd. My list doesn't really look like what I've seen so far. It's not a recently used list. It's just a list of what is installed.
