Old dos games running under Linux.
Hello!

I am relative new to Steam and I bought several classic games that are running under dos.

My Main question is if there is any possibility to make these games available under Linux, since dosbox is available under all platforms.

What type of conditions have to be fulfilled by the game to be available on Linux?

Is there any possibility to download games that are officially not supported for Linux under a Linux operating system without using Wine emulation?

Ps: Sorry for the bad grammar and typo

The easiest way (and the method I employ) to run these types of games on Linux would be in a virtual machine, using a suitable guest OS. Windows 98 SE tends to be a very good choice for most older games.

Any other way would likely involve a great amount of headache, if it's possible at all.
Try downloading the version of dosbox that works with your linux build.

Also, if you don't have a Windows box available to do the actual download, it might be possible to use the SteamCMD tool. I have never used that, though -- I just know it exists.
