Achievement Not Unlocking Steam Support Help?
Not the end of the world but I just unlocked the last two achievements for Fable Anniversary (I even have a screenshot up in my library of the in game tracker saying I have) but it didn't unlock for steam. Tried looking for a way to contact Steam if there was a way they could credit it to me, but I can't seem to find one. Can anyone help? I realize some people don't care but I really like trying to 100% my favorite games, and one of them I didn't get credit for is particularly difficult.

The correct implementation of achievements and them unlocking is up to the developer of the game, not Steam..

Right, well it was unlocked the right way, I'm just looking for credit of it on my Steam account, which I'm sure they can credit.

Here's my screenshot showing that I've met all the criteria, yet it didn't unlock on Steam's client for some reason.

Because the developer did not implement the trigger properly into the game.
Tell the developer of the game to fix it.
Steam Support can not help you with that issue. They can't patch the game.

Lol the trigger not triggering is one thing, but Steam can absolutely credit the achievement if they want, the records are stored on Steam's client.

Even to say that they "can absolutely" isn't entirely true. Just like Steam developers build functionality for us to change our account (i.e. account settings), the same holds true for Steam support. Cause it's not like Steam support is going directly into the database to change things. So they "can absolutely" only if they had the tools built to do so. Even then, I doubt they will and frankly doubt the functionality even exists.

Yeah, sorry for the poor wording on that, and I didn't really expect them to, but was worth a shot =/

Steam Support does not deal with such things. They don't "credit" achievements, they leave such things up to the developers of the games, that's their territory.

So talk to the game dev, they must have accidentally botched the triggers ast one point.

Unfortunate, Microsoft isn't likely to do anything about it and I haven't found people running into similar issues on the game forum, so was hoping someone might be able to help but doesn't appear to be the case.

Try posting in the specific game discussion forum hub. This is just general Steam help and tips.

Yeah, I posted there first yesterday, but got zero responses, so thought I would post here as a hail mary to see if something could be done, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

People have experienced it in 2018 and 2017:

People also had issues on Xbox Live:

It would seem that the achievement part of the coding is a tad shoddy.

So I had seen the Steam responses but not the Xbox ones. I tried their solutions of reinstalling the game but that didn't work for me. Appreciate the help attempts tho. Was hoping there was a way to get a mod or something to do some kind of a work around but it sounds like that's not an option. Ah well, was worth a shot. Can close this thread now =/
