Relatar um problema com a tradução
I was finally able to solve this problem tonight.I contacted support that day when I bumped the thread and after a successful verification, I was given a new password.Entered my account and everything was alright. As I didn't want to keep a randomly generated password, I went to change it into something I would remember. Then I faced the exact same problem again - confirmation error while confirming the code in mobile app.
Then I figured the problem might be connected to the SIM card and the phone number registered on the Steam account.Luckily, I still had the old SIM card that I had in my phone at the time when I was setting up the authenticator for that account.I managed to change the phone number on the account and then I tried to change password again.Went into confirmations window and this time confirmation error didn't show up.
Clearly, Steam mobile app looks into this detail whether the actual number in your phone and the one that's used on your account are the same.If they aren't, you might run into this issue that I have run into.
If you have lost your old SIM card, then going to support is your best bet.Prepare to be questioned about certain things in order to prove you're the owner of the account you are intending to modify.
