what email software do u use.
a little thing: with free outlook (microsft) email software. www.outlook.com
'embedding' images into emails is very very easy. i use it only (with windows 10 home 64 by bill gates (microsoft))

Same problem here, happens with 90% of uploads and there doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern for images that do work regarding file size or file type etc

Try uploading the image to imgur and then sending them the link .

Steam might think it's innapropriate and say no no to that or just use something that's good to talk to people like skype

to those select few dumbos in here: this is in regards to the Steam Beta Chat client, nothing email or censorship related.
I've noticed this problem as well; I would believe it is because the servers are getting overloaded (maybe Valve underestimated how many people would test the beta client) as I don't see any other reason for this - even a minuscule image of approx. 10kB gets that same error as often as a 1MB image does.
Would guess best bet is to just wait for another update when Valve fixes this; changing servers doesn't help, so it is not regional or content-related.
