Battery drains fast on laptop while playing
HI

Playing Lords of the realm 3 through steam.

I have to use battery mode from time to time on my laptop.
Full battery runs out in 1 hour on this game which is not the same for other games.( they last about 2.5 hours)

I tried lowering graphics to lowest possible settings, reducing screen brightness, power saver mode in windows, etc. Nothing works.

This doesnt make sense because it is an older game (2004).

Any help?

How many FPS do you have in the game?
What are your system specs?
What other games are you comparing this game with?

Did you treat your battery well?

Also its a laptop it supose to die fast when playing games

I'm comparing with hitman blood money (2.5 hours battery) and some much older games

I have an hp envy laptop with core i7 and intel hd 620 graphics

Also, how do you find frame rate?
