My PS3 Controller refuses to be detected by my laptop
I've been wanting to play dark souls and the dmc series, the problem is my ps3 controller refuses to work. Here are the details, When connected the ps3 controller will blink continously slowly. No notifications pop up, no drivers automatically installing. Tried using SCP toolkit. While installing I noticed these two lines:

No matching devices found in INF "C:\Users\user\Desktop\ScpServer\bin\System\BthWinUsb.inf" on the Machine.
No matching devices found in INF "C:\Users\user\Desktop\ScpServer\bin\System\Ds3WinUsb.inf" on the Machine.

Afterwards the SCP toolkit did not detect my ps3 controller. I looked at connected devices in devices and printers, only two main devices listed, my laptop and my wireless mouse.

I tried the force installation with the SCP toolkit to check if it would work, The two same lines popped up again. All the basic essentials have already been installed, latest version of .NET, latest version of DX, latest Xbox 360 Drivers, Latest version of C++ package.

Someone help me before I shoot my ♥♥♥♥ off.

You do have the ds3 connected by wire when installing SCP?

Reference to BthWinUsb sounds like its bluetooth issue. For scptoolkit to work wirelessly it takes 100% control of your bluetooth controller. Any device you have connected via bluetooth could be causing conflicts.

Should be a. Exe to remove/reset all scp stuff. Run it > Reboot > connect ds3 via cable then try setting scp up again.

Not at my pc and havent used scp since I change to ds4windows after i got a ds4.....wanted access to my bluetooth controller now.

The cable needs to be a data cable, not charge only cable

I have two cables, one cable I have no idea where it came from, the other is the cable i used for the ps3 i had.

So i tried disconnecting my mouse from the laptop and just incase i took out everything else i had connected. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling SCP and it didn't work, also i do not have a bluetooth dongo for my ps3 controller, so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. Also the ps3 controller is the only one connectected to my usb ports.

I should also probably mention, I have two ps3 controllers. One official ps3 controller and the other one is third party. I tried using both controllers but they both failed.
