Will having a gory profile picture get you banned?

(Removed image.) Here is the image. It's not necessarily NSFW, but it does have blood in it. Not real blood, but it might not be allowed on Steam because I know people can be sensitive to stuff like that.

The image doesn't load for me, but since it's Pixiv, I'm assuming it is anime fanart. If it's just blood it should be fine. If it has internal organs, then no.

You really have to ask if a picture of a young child lying on the floor covered with blood pouring from an obviously severe head wound is going too far?

As others have said if you have to ask you can be pretty damn sure it would get taken down.

Good point. The only reason I asked is because I've seen people with worse profile avatars. Sometimes even porn, too.

Thats because sadly a lot of people don't report those avatars when they see them and if the users keep themselves out of the more public areas they can go for a while before it gets flagged for the admins to remove.

Kind of funny watching just how fast a lot of them get name and avatar priviliges stripped when they do wander over to these forums for some reason and get flagged by the active community and mods that are here almost constantly.

If you need to ask, it's probably not a good choice for an avatar.

Just because other users choose to violate the rules doesn't make it ok.
