Validation Email
I am not getting validation emails from steam. I am getting other emails from steam. The help for email problems all require being able to logon which requries that you first validate your email account. I have followed instructions on https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLogin but now what do I do? I get a boiler plate email back when I email support@steampowered.com. I have currently emailed contact@valvesoftware.com to see if I can get a response back form valvesoftware or not.

Oh by the way I am able to access the forums through the steam client. I can't access them from my browser. I am using the standard edge browser that comes with Windows 10 Home for my browser.

Ok I got an email from noreply@valvesoftware.com saying contact@valvesoftware.com is no longer monitored. I have no problem getting these emails.

My ISP is asking if steam is getting a bounce back message from the ISP.

If I go to URL
https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithLoginInfo?reset=1&issueid=408
I can enter my email address and steam finds it. I can then request a validation email. So I know the correct email address is being used.

I can get an email if I spoof the from address so there should not be a problem on my ISP side in handling the incoming email from steam.

Steam Support email blacklisted by Earthlink

Did you solve your problem? It may be a problem with your email itself, not Steam. Have you tried validating your account with a different email? For testing purpose only, just to know if you would receive the message.

No I can get an email if I spoof the email address so its not a problem with how my email is handled. I also had the ISP themselves check all the setting and folders.

This may be a problem where the steam ip address is blocked as reported in a different topic in this forum. We really need steam to review the below URL and take the action documented in it.
