Does anyone know how to fix these broken image thumbnail?

Used CClearner, wiped steam download cache, updated graphics card, updated adobe flash player, doesn't help.

Did you clear Steam's web browser cache?

Steam > Settings > Web Browser > Delete Web Browser Cache and Cookies

Just did and it did nothing as well.

Also, only one solution worked so far but it fixes only partially.

I go to My PC right clic C Drive > Properties > Disk clean up > checked thumb nails option and then ok, it fixes some items thumbnail but the rest are still broken image.

Seems to be a database issue with the images of accepted trades (it does only happen with items in trades, you did accept, and the mouseover picture is still working, right?). I'm getting the same thing since about three weeks at certain items.
Nothing, you can do about it.

There is no problem with items that is currently in my own inventory, the problem is only happening to trade offer history but if you hover mouse over these broken thumbnail icons, it still show the item picture perfectly fine.

Both doesn't work when it's display on a web browser.

I also right clicked and copy link address for my own broken image vs non-broken image, both won't show on a web browser.

Yes, but how does that even related, it's a separated program.

I'm just trying to think of reasons. We both are affected by an error, that does not seem to apply to most (otherwise, there would have been several other threads about it around). I suppose, you're getting broken images in SDA as much as I do. And the images on Steam only break after the transaction was confirmed.
Not saying, it's necessarily this, but it could have something to do with the problem.

Off-topic: I've been getting this error message for SDA "Failed to check for updates" for few months already, version is 1.0.8.2

They fixed this in the latest 1.09 release.

Just updated mine to 1.0.9 anddddd it doesn't fix the issue :3

I thought it was just me! This has been happening with my account for some time now as well with the images not loading up and many times when I bring up my own inventory the trade window just freezes completely.

I meant the error message at launch, which should no longer be there. The thing with item graphics remains the same (and as I said, it's just a wild guess, that it is even related to SDA).

I'm not certain, if it is the same issue, we are talking about. To repeat, the problem, this thread is about, is broken images in accepted trades either in trade history or trades on hold. Not all, just some of them, but the same ones at least for a certain period of time, unaffected by refreshing (haven't found a pattern yet, at which point a graphic starts working again, but it happens).

Had a few trades the last days, where the offer was retreated because the item in question was no longer in my or the other persons inventory. Unlike cases, where an offer is normally refused or retreated, these appear to cause the same issue, without any interaction with SDA from my side.
Another thesis to drop.

Still not the slightest idea, what may cause this. And it is happening with certain games far more often than with others (by my feeling more frequently the less common the sets are).
