Download restarted when the game got an update

I was downloading path of exile everything was fine and then i shutdown my pc (shutting down my pc don't restart the download) when i woke up i opened my pc and noticed that the game got an update i checked my downloads and it started from 0% please help

Is this causing an issue? or are you just wanting to know more about it?

Shutting down your PC while Steam was open is a bad idea, as that could get the application manifests corrupt and presumably prevent a successful download which could, and will damage your game files.

What was the problem then? That it had to redownload or does an error occur?

download progress got from 58% to 1% after the game got an update i think so i guess if game got an update that reset the download

So the download went fine after? no probs then? All that happened was it was reset?

Just wondering what you asked for help for? don't think they can speed up download times for you and it has caused no probs other then it tried to download again from scratch after you closed steam and your computer.

Dude download got restarted after the game got an update. As simple as that i have to start from 0% now

I am just wondering why you brought this up on the help tabs? Loadings times like that are natural and it reset prob cause you closed steam on your computer and such.

Nothing you can do to fix loading screens. But like if it KEEPS resetting to 0 then that's a unnatural problem they can help with.
