Youtube eating all RAM?
Hello,

I know this doesn't really belong here but i just wanna ask for convenience sake, since i have no YT account or anything like that.

Since yesterday YT seems to use an aweful lot of RAM even for just a single vid running in the background. I got 8 gigs of RAM and the task manager indicates that almost 90% is being used...
It takes a couple of minutes to get there however. But needless to say, it slows down my system really hard. Other internet stuff seems to work fine...

My OS: Win7 Pro 64-bit , Browser: FF

Just want to see if anyone can confirm the same issue and hopefully has some help to offer. Thanks!

if you are watching it in the background lower the video quality and close any unnecessary programs or games you arent using at the time, you could also remove any extensions to the web browser you use or switch to google chrome, its much more preferrable and easier to use and uses less cpu. and if the video matters so much to you theres also using your phone to watch it. atleast one of these should work.
