Cannot access CD Key of Assassins Creed Origins

I recently got gifted AC:O and installed the game. Due to the entire Uplay stuff, I need the CD key to add the game to my Uplay library to be able to start it.

Problem: The CD key isn't there.

It is neither on the right side of the library with the links beneath DLC, nor does the option "View CD Key" show, when I right-click on the game in the library.

I feel ripped of, as I was planning to play the game over easter and I seem to be unable to contact the support.

You shouldn't need to. Try to update the Uplay client instead.

Ubisoft no longer gives CD Keys for their products. They changed the activation method.
If UPlay still asks for one, then it is outdated. Uninstall your current UPlay client and download and install the latest version from the Ubisoft website.
