Why does steam.exe listen on port 27060?
As the title, why does steam listen on TCP 27060? I can navigate to http://localhost:27060 and get 404. There's a webserver listening. What's the purpose? I can't find any documentation. Seems like a security issue.

I dont creep in networks; even my own, because it all reads like a bad creepypasta in the end

I read the article, it doesn't mention 27060. Did you read it?

I know it's steam, you can use numerous tools to view what processes are listening. I've found references to it some JS files for auth. It's not clear what it's used for though.

Dont block anything, leave it be. It's Steam, not something "phishy"

I'm willing to bet blocking that port will cause vac errors.
I would bet it has something to do with this site http://155.133.250.105/ (found in System Monitor after started downloading a game). Maybe mirroring of downloaded content.
