Can see other users installed games; same Windows profile
Hi,

Some basic info first:
Windows 10 with Steam client installed.

Don't know if this is the way it's meant to be but I logged out of my Steam profile and my brother logged into his Steam profile on my computer, same Windows profile.

He could see all my installed games in his game list. Only installed games, not every game. And he could play them!

Is this the way its meant to be, or a bug?

cheers

That is how it works, yes.

The games will appear in the library as it is the same PC and the content was store in the Steam client.

That is normal.

He won't be able to play games that he hasn't purchased.

If he tries to launch them, it'll prompt him to purchase the game.

Thanks! Is there a way to hide these games?

I figured a filter was the way to go. I own all the games he has but he only has a dozen games so he'll have to trawl through the list finding his few.
