Account stolen

So my account was compromised and the email was changed, password was changed and I can not get back into it. So i tried the online recovery tool and it will not work. I submit all my info and debit card info into the system and the screenshots to prove owner ship and nothing happens.
The system just gives me this error message "We weren't able to send a verification email to your email address. Please make sure you have provided a valid email address and try again in a few minutes." The email I entered is a valid email, and it just sends one of those basic confirm if this is your email code to the email I entered I can not confirm it though because I get the code, but there is no place to actually put the code in on the help page, as the only pop up is the "We weren't able to send a verification email to your email address. Please make sure you have provided a valid email address and try again in a few minutes." error message. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a hold on account support another way please mention it. As I cant even send them the ticket because of that error message.

Try to make a new mailbox on any of the free email services, e.g. Google

You can use the Help site to try to self recover your account or contact Steam Support if you are unable to.

If you are unable to complete the self recovery process, Steam Support will verify the account is yours and recover it for you.

When contacting Steam Support try to provide as much of the following as possible:
1.Proof of account ownership (See below)
2.Any possible Steam Account login names
3.Any possible email addresses used on the account

Alright Thanks FPS it worked I got th pop up for the code and was able to send the ticket

Sent me the code but then says "We weren't able to send a verification email to your email address. Please make sure you have provided a valid email address and try again in a few minute"s. afterwards...

I'm also having this problem. Neither me nor my friend can get through this step to enter the verification code we got from the email.

You can try deactivating the firewall before pressing the send button. It worked for my case.

Me and my friend also having the same problem. I tried to deactivate firewall, and i tried to register a new email but it won't works. Always when i press send button gives me this error massage "We weren't able to send a verification email to your email address. Please make sure you have provided a valid email address and try again in a few minutes."
The guy who has stolen my account, also changed the email address, the phone number and the password in my account. Sorry for my bad english, I just really need to get my account back
