Http error 500 on all link filter links?
https://www.opendota.com/players/7885432

Am I the only one having this issue? Or if not, where does one report something like this? No off-steam link works that isn't whitelisted, any link going to the link filter gets http error 500 for me.

Can't look at those links, steams link filter is broken?
Same for me. Links aren`t working. In every discussion.
It's an issue with the Steam Servers.

I tried it on mobile as well.

In the mobile app - it leads to a blank page.

No chance to open your links. The only result is an empty black „steam" page.

They can open...

You just have to remove the filter from the URL.

And no, it does not lead to blank page in a desktop web browser - it leads to the HTTP error.

Strange. Never had problems of this kind. Ok, let us try the thing with the filter.

Just access the URL in the bar above in your browser and then edit it to the ORIGINAL link.

It'd lead to the page where the image is.

Just EDIT the URL with the instructions above.

It's not hard at all.

Hi,

Do you mean cut and paste into the browser? I've been doing that...
I was wondering if anyone might have any idea how many users are affected and when it might get fixed?

I'm not actually seeing the error message, I just get a blank Steam screen, guessing it is the same problem though???

Cheers in advance for any further help/advice :)
You check the URL in the bar above and remove the filter.

There's a big section at the start of the URL, just remove it.

No the code broke, I believe who ever writes it may be sabotaging steam, maybe some inhouse dispute. someones getting fired tho.

Cause all scam links work...

I'll already filed a complaint asking to look into the development team who works on the link filter.
@robin that doesn't work.
Ah good you are from North America @Swaheelee :)
I had wondered if this was related to the new EU privacy laws that came into force today, that puts that fear to rest :)
