Steam overriding x360ce
Just noticed with the latest Steam update there is support for Nintendo Switch Pro controller. This is great! However, I cannot test my controller under the Wireless Gamepad Properites. It may not seem like a big deal, but because of this x360ce doesn't work and I cannot use JoyToKey, thus rendering my key mappings useless while steaam is running.

Only solution is to exit out of Steam so I can use my controller to control my PC the way I like :/

Then simply disable Steam's own input mapper and use any other that you want.

Had the same issue and had to disable Steams' input mapping, which worked temporarily, but had to turn off Steam completely the next time.

Steam should not be taking complete control over the controller like that without warning. It took awhile to figure out why the light was on, why Windows' Game Controller's window wasn't working and freezing, and why the controller wasn't working in FFXIV like it should.

Hi, just came back from temporary internet problems. So disabling the input mapping worked! But I have to redo that everytime I want to use my controller for my computer. I suppose it's no huge deal but would be nice for the settings to actually 'stick'. Thanks so much for your guys' help!
