Steam delete my Dead by daylight from library

One night I played dead by daylight with a friend but the next day I did not find the game in the library

Just fully uninstalled/reinstalled Steam as well, and even though it shows in the store it is in my library, it is not to be found in my library. Still cant install DBD

Mine is not in my library anymore either. If I go to DbD's installed location and launch the exe it will boot the game however it says my steam is offline (it is not) and it has to close the game after the new pyramid head intro video.

Same here this just happened to me, the page in my library prompts me to 'purchase' and when i click that it tells me that I already own it and launching the game doesn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now it's just gone from my library.

yeah same thing happened here, to both my friend and I. I assume it was caused by switching to other steam accounts, despite us not even touching the game while on said accounts. Is a fix on the way?

Had the exact same problem. Ton of issues connecting to the game earlier, so I left it alone for an hour or so as I assumed steam was having a hiccup. I came back to it telling me to purchase the game.

Restarted steam, restarted my PC, uninstalled and re-installed steam which has removed the game from my library completely (though still says the game along with all of the DLC I bought for it is in my library, and when I try to launch the game the launch box closes after 30 seconds).

Just to verify, checked my licenses on my steam account and I still own the game and all the DLC. I submitted a support ticket just a couple minutes ago, so let's hope this is resolved...

Edit: Just gonna put this here in case it helps anyone... After uninstalling & reinstalling steam, I cleared my download cache in steam and it has put my game back in the library. Told me to reinstall (just had to find where I had the game files located) and now it's let me launch the game. Don't know if they just fixed it, or if this is a potential fix for now, but I figured I'd share just in case. Best of luck!

Yep. Same here. DBD no longer shows in my library, thought it was acting weird, uninstalled, and now its missing. It says that I do have it purchased, but if I try to run the game it just goes to the store page.

2k hours in so...clearly not my end...something weird must've happened when they patched it today?

Dont think its just DBD. It happened with me with Skyrim Special Edition. Servers went down. When they came back up i launched the game. Closed out to do something cause it wasnt in windowed mode. Then game wouldnt launch after that. Tried to uninstall then reinstall but it disappeared from my library completely and the store page says its still in my library, and wont redownload it. Sent a help ticket but still no response.
