Steam delete my Dead by daylight from library

One night I played dead by daylight with a friend but the next day I did not find the game in the library

Did it completely disappear out of your library after you bought it, or did it just appeared as "uninstalled"?

Did you actually buy the game or was it from a free weekend?

1. If there was really something unexpected "wrong" with the key and Steam/Valve really removed a title from the library, then a red marked message appear in the header with some more details (client).

Please note, you do not own anything here, so this company can do anything with your purchased keys. Anytime without a real reason.

2. Logged in into another account
3. As mentioned "free weekend promo"
4. You hid the title in your library

Dead thread, but same thing has just happened to me, it disappeared from my library and when i checked the page it only gave me the option to buy

same for me after last steam update, even if i try to start it from store it just shows "Preparing to launch.." and window is gone in few seconds

yup same happened to me! Iv tried uninstalling to attempt to reinstall but it won't let that happen. Iv cleared my download cache but that did nothing. iv even tried to see if i have to buy it again but I can't as its in my library .. but also not in my library

Same here.. i was in game then i had a connection error... so i exit game to find that it only gives me the option to purchase... then i wanted to try and reinstall it.. so i
uninstall and poof... Dead By Deadlight gone from library.. and i spent alot on dlc and stuff. I hope i'll get my stuff back cuz im going to pissed asf

Same thing is happening to me. I have played the game on and old PC, but same steam account. I just tried to download on my new PC but the download failed saying (no licenses). After that the game disappeared from my library, but if I go to the store page it knows that the game should be in my library and has a "Play" button. When I click game it says it's preparing to launch, but then the dialog disappears and nothing happens. My husband also owns the game and doesn't see it in his library anymore either.

Also having the same problem. Was experiencing issues with the game Crashing (multiple game security violations), so thought a full uninstall/reinstall would be in order. Went to reinstall, and it shows that "Dead by daylight is in your steam library" and "Play Now" showing, but it isn't installed on the computer and it won't allow to be reinstalled. Also is not in my library anymore.

Tried to launch the game but as it was trying to launch it, it kicked me out and said to purchase the game even though i have owned it for quite some time.

Same here. Restart steam didn't work
