Dlc refund
I am trying to get some support through steam but there system is utter crap.

I purchased the dlc for cod ww2 and haven’t been able to get a single game in any mode on the dlc, I am still playing the normal maps and no new maps have came on.

I’ve contacted steam twice for a refund and because my cod game time is more then 2 hours they won’t refund me, that game time is for the base game I haven’t been able to get a single dlc game since buying it. Is there a way to speak to someone direct via email or phone.

You can only refund a DLC if you played the base game less than two hours and bought the DLC less than 14 days ago.
As it is not possible to track whether you played the base game or its DLC content, the base game runtime is tracked.

You are no longer eligible for a refund.
There is no email or phone you can use anyway. The ticket system is the only way.
Additionally, all tickets are answered by a human person. You getting a denial does not make it an automated reply.

I have 6 hours of game time since buying this dlc and not a single one of those hours is any dlc game, I’m not the only one having this issue a lot of people have reported this and been refunded for this

DLC refund requirements are that you don't play the base game of the DLC for more than 2 hours after purchase before refunding it. From the sound of it, you've gone past that already.

That's the policy. You aren't entitled to a refund if you've played the base game for more than two hours since owning the DLC. Next time don't buy extra DLC for a dead game.

Less than seven thousand players in CoD:WW2 multiplayer at the moment, from all over the world. On a weekend!
That game is not very popular.
And that includes all players, those with and without DLC, which segregates the playerbase into even less players available.
So, if only 50% of the players, and that is a very generous guess, has the DLC, then it's about 3.5k players worldwide available to you. And less within your region. So, not much to choose from, which would explain your issues in the queue.

That's because the game is dead. Barely anyone buys the COD DLC/season passes on PC as it is. WW2 also has regional matchmaking restritions in place too which further condense your chances of getting a lobby on the DLC map list. Should have researched this before taking the plunge.

It's not a product issue, it's a playerbase issue.

There are simple not enough people who owns the DLC. Should have done some research before buying something especially season pass for CoD on the PC.

The season pass works - nobody buys it. You still have access to the zombies portion of the content which is why most people buy the DLC these days. It's not like it was 10 years ago on console where you had 500,000 online at any given time - PC only gets about 5k-10,000 players and the overwhelming majority don't own the season pass content.

Why should I have to do research? I play ww2 a lot with no issues on the base game and that is why I chose to get the pass for extra maps. It shouldn’t be available if they are constantly having people request refunds because they can’t get games

Because common sense would dictate you gauge how many players are playing the game before you commit to buy any additional content so you don't end up in THIS situation.

It's not difficult to get the player counts for the game and then make a decision on whether the population is realistically sustainable for the DLC. Matches and players don't grow on trees and if people don't have the content; you obviously wont get a match going. That's also not taking into consideration SBMM and off-peak counts which further hamper matchmaking.

People aren't requesting refunds and even if they were; they'd be rejected because of the policy. Take it on the chin.
