Steam trading eligibility

Guys i have got a new account. I just wanted to know if just enabling the authenticator would be enough to be eligible to trade items because im not interested in market transactions. Is enabling steam guard enough to start trading??

Yes, you need to enable mobile authentcator, then from there you have to wait 7 days to trade

Mobile Authentificator is not mandatory, it's only required if you hate hating.

You can still trade without mobile authentificator however with trade holds.

You will be able to trade on steam window but you will be grasped with trade holds, in game you can also, once you enabled steam guard and mobile authencator or confirm your email for trade offers, the waittime should be either from 7 days or 15 days if you want to trade without any holds

Well, you can trade, but as mentioned, you will be stuck with trade holds, if you want full premium of your steam account, you should consider getting something cheap for 5$ from the steam store

Only for 7 days, the same effect applies for limited or unlimited
