Steam Family Sharing Keeps Disappearing

So recently, I set up Steam Family Sharing with my brother's account because we both had games that the other wanted to play but didn't want to buy an extra copy. The thing is, every 2 days or so, I would lose access to his games but he wouldn't lose access to mine. Like the category for his games would just disappear even though in the family sharing page the box is still checked off. It's getting quite frustrating because we had to log in and log out of each others accounts countless times now. I hope there's some sort of solution to this small issue I'm having, if anyone has any suggestions or understands what the problem at hand is, please leave a comment and help me out. Thanks
