Should I switch to a PS4?

Here are my specs:
CPU-i3 2120
GPU-GTX 1050TI 4GB
8gb ram
500gb hard drive
Because of my CPU and ram all of the games that I play bottleneck and it limits me from getting the maximum FPS as well as enjoyment out of my games. Just the other day my hard drive blew and that is when it occurred to me, is it really worth the money to upgrade my PC? I found out that if I was to sell my GPU, I would have enough for a PS4 and this world help reduce the bottle neck issues I am having, also I would be able to play all of the newest games. Is this worth the money compared to the £400ish I would have to spend to help upgrade my PC? Thanks

Why not just play at 30 fps like the PS4? Even the 1050 Ti can do that on almost any game 1080p max settings.

Xbox One technically have backward compatibility with previous Xbox 360 games. But still, PS4 has good exclusives while Xbox One eh.... Well it's your choice.

PS4 pros and cons:
+More graphical power!
+Has good exclusives like Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and much more!
+4K upscaling (PS4 Pro)
+Upgradeable hard drives
-Require PS Plus subscriptions to play online multiplayer
-No backward compatible with previous PS3 games unless the developers decided to release the PS4 remastered version

Xbox One:
+Even more POWERS!!!! (Xbox One X only)
+Backward compatible with previous Xbox 360 games!
+Native 4K resolution (Xbox One X only)
-Non-upgradeable hard drives
-(same as PS4) require Xbox Live Gold for blablabla
-Original Xbox One is too weak! (I suggest you should get Xbox One S)

Then again though some games such as the witcher 3 were really hard to play due to frame drops, same with ac origins

How playable would you say the game son consoles are though, I mean as I game on them would they feel clunky as they do on my PC now? (Minus the frame drops of course
